Excerpt of "Meet the Family" (Continued)

John J. Skinner must have been born before about 1780, judging from his marriage date, Feb. 25, 1797. Place of birth was probably Georgia, as his father was there by 1779. He was married in Columbia Co., Ga. to Susannah Coaker, who must also have born before about 1780.

This is all I copied from "Meet the Family". The rest goes on about John J. Skinner and his descendants moving on westward. Apparently Carolyn Gail Skinner, Kent Eugene Skinner, and Barbara Ruth Skinner were responsible for compiling this part of "Meet the Family". Their ancestry was listed at the beginning which is as follows:

Capt. Isaac Skinner, Amer, Rev., married Jane

John J. Skinner mar. Susannah Coaker

Augustus C. Skinner mar. Mary Jones

Aug. Washington Columbus Skinner mar. Marth Beale Shearer

Columbus Washington Skinner mar. Harriet Magdalene Becker

Franklin Eugene Skinner mar. Mabel Ozella Hamilton

Eugene Elam Skinner mar. Barbara Ruth Doggett

Then listed below them were the names: Carolyn Gail Skinner, Kent Eugene Skinner, and Barbara Ruth Skinner
